With its horizontal form, the SWING follows today’s trend involving purchasing of larger and larger LCD screens. It allows the positioning of even the largest screens so as to ensure that watching it at home is as comfortable as possible, without turning one’s head upwards. We have adapted the furniture functionality to the new form. The inside of the modular home cinema elements (S1, S2) is divided into equipment space and connection space. 5-outlet power strip is installed in the connection section. The strip is equipped with the varistor over-voltage protection system and electric shock protection system. Cable clamps are provided to make it easier to arrange connections. The S2 module is provided with a door masked from the inside, but allowing the operation of the equipment with the remote control. Hinges are fixed with glue straight onto the door using UV technology. The base is retracted in order that the frame provides lightness of form and allows all external connections to be hidden behind the furniture: power supply, antenna and speakers. Gaps made in the rear wall make it easier to lay connection cables and to push the furniture item close to the wall. Glass top S9 is offered in order to allow the best possible location for central speaker. The top is made of diamond glass, which is practically colourless, without the green shade characteristic for common glass. In order to maintain the purity of the furniture item form, the fronts of the drawers (S3, S5) penetrate into the frame hiding their existence. The drawers are opened by pulling them centrally at the bottom. The drawers are equipped with an automatic closing mechanism - Blumotion. This mechanism guarantees the quiet and smooth closing, even if the drawer is pushed strongly. The furniture frames are lacquered white or black using very durable polyurethane lacquers. The upper furniture surfaces are covered with panels made of black lacquered glass, perfectly matching today’s TV equipment design trends. The fronts of the modules with drawers are finished with natural veneer representing exotic tree species: ebony, rosewood, olive tree or sequoia. With their natural beauty they will warm up any interior, making a platform between modern TV equipment and any design of a flat. The refined veneers, which are used are not coloured or modified in any way. We have only preserved their beauty by repeated lacquering until a refined gloss is obtained.
